About Us
Coastal Gan Preschool is a licensed family child care center in Encinitas, California. We offer a nurturing, play-based environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. We encourage creativity, critical thinking, emotional growth, and autonomy while fostering a love for learning. With an emphasis on cultural integration, children explore Hebrew language and Jewish traditions through immersive, hands-on experiences. Coastal Gan has a low student-to-teacher ratio. Community involvement is a cornerstone of the school’s philosophy, with families participating in Tot Shabbat, Jewish holiday celebrations, and inclusive community events. Located in a diverse and vibrant community, Coastal Gan serves families across San Diego County who value high-quality, play-based education.
Rooted in Jewish traditions and informed by the RIE philosophy, Coastal Gan integrates respect, independence, and observation to promote child-led, play-based learning through emergent curriculum strategies For children ages 0-5 years. Summer Program for 2-6 years.
